“What a great tour! We found our way no problem to the meet up spot from the cruise ship. It was all very organized. Since there were 15 people signed up, they split us into two groups, so we ended up having 9 people in our group. Our guide, Maria, was an absolute delight and all the food was amazing and plentiful. We highly recommend this tour! The pace was perfect - not at all rushed but we managed to experience so many different Greek specialties. Such a fun way to experience the city life! Maria followed up with an email, explaining all the things we had tasted. That was…”

Thessaloniki Walking Tour: Explore Top Sights & Hidden Gems

4.Thessaloniki Walking Tour: Explore Top Sights & Hidden Gems

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 39 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $35Best value

Walk Thessaloniki with an English-speaking guide from the White Tower to Modiano Market, Ladadika, and Valaoritou. You’ll see Roman and Byzantine landmarks, waterfront views, local food districts, and modern city life in a small group of up to 15 people. Giorgos and Fenia have both led this route.

“Brilliant tour! Giorgos was our charming guide and he was great! Took us to all the must see sights in an easy walk; told us about them entertainingly and listened to the group, so we choose to go inside a couple of churches. One very minor feedback - it would be good to try and stop in shade and/or where there were seats. We enjoyed Giorgos’ company so much we - the group - had lunch with him and he ordered and told us about traditional Greek food. The meal was one of the best we’ve had in Greece! Thank you so much!”
